“RAFFLE”: The competition, governed by these Terms and Conditions, is run by the Organisers. Participants submit their entries through the website www.aribofoundationraffle.com.
“PRIZE”: List of prizes can be found on the Prize page.
“ORGANISERS”: The ARIBO FOUNDATION RAFFLE; arranged by the FIDELE GROUP. The Fidele Group is a private limited company registered under the laws of England and Wales, with company number 11924483.
“PARTICIPANT”: Anyone participating in the raffle through the Website must be at least 18 years old, excluding limited companies, partnerships, or limited liability partnerships.
“WINNER”: 12 randomly selected participants after the Closing Date will receive a Prize as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
“WEBSITE”: www.aribofoundationraffle.com.
“OPENING DATE”: 7th October 2024.
“CLOSING DATE”: Extended to 4th November 2024.
"DRAW DATE": Extended to 11th November 2024.
"TICKET BUNDLES": Multiple raffle entries can be bought together as a group of tickets.
DEFINITIONS
GENERAL INFORMATION
By entering the raffle through the website, participants are considered to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, agreeing to be bound by them.
All participants must provide valid contact details (email address and telephone number) upon entering the raffle. These details will be utilised for the following purposes:
notifying the winners of their prize.
publish the winner's name on our social media platforms.
adhering to the Privacy Policy.
All participants are solely and fully responsible for furnishing the organisers with precise and up-to-date contact information.
We will not be held responsible for any failure to contact a participant due to errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the contact details provided by the participant or any other reasons.
The participant and the organisers acknowledge that the organisers may utilise contact information and other data, including personal data as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998, provided by the participants to the organisers. This information will be used to manage the website and oversee the raffle in accordance with the specified Terms and Conditions.
The raffle has been organised by the Fidele Group on behalf of the Aribo Foundation.
Those eligible to participate in the raffle must be 18 years or older, excluding the organisers, their agents, employees, professional advisers, or any individuals connected with the company, its activities, or the foundation's organisation.
Participants must submit their entries to the raffle through the website for them to be considered valid.
By participating in the raffle, all contestants recognise that any paid entries they submit do not assure them of winning a prize.
To qualify for the raffle, only entries that have been fully paid will be considered.
Participants must comply with their country's laws to enter the raffle. The organisers are not liable for violations.
The participant and the organisers acknowledge that English Law governs the raffle, its management, and all related activities. Both parties agree that in case of any dispute related to the raffle or its administration, the County or High Courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction.
When entering the raffle, participants confirm that all provided information is accurate, true, current, and complete. The organisers hold the authority to disqualify any participant (solely at their discretion) if there are valid reasons to suspect a breach of these Terms and Conditions by the participant.
Participants can submit an unlimited number of entries through the website, but they are only eligible to win one prize.
The organisers are not accountable or liable for the valuation in any manner and does not provide any assurance regarding its accuracy.
Once submitted, all entries become the property of the Organisers and will not be returned.
The organisers retain the authority to modify these terms and conditions at any time and for any cause.
THE RAFFLE
The winners of the raffle will be selected seven days after the closing date.
Participants entering the raffle will need to provide their contact details (email addresses and a telephone number) along with their card payment information. After the participant submits this information, the card payment will be electronically approved.
When the Closing Date comes, the raffle will conclude. However, the organisers have the option to extend the closing date by up to one month at their own discretion.
Once entries are submitted for the raffle, they are considered final, and refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, except for entries received after the Closing Date.
The raffle winners will be selected from participants whose ticket numbers have been randomly drawn through an automated website.
The decision made by the organisers is conclusive, and there will be no further discussion regarding the raffle results once the winners have been determined as outlined above.
The winners may be required to send a copy of their passport or driver's license to the organisers to verify their identity and confirm that their entry was submitted using a valid debit/credit card owned by the participant or used with the card holder's explicit permission.
Every participant acknowledges that the standard 30-day requirement stipulated by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 for online orders of goods and services does not apply to this raffle.
If a winner cannot be reached by the organisers during their designated time slot, which will be communicated to the winner through the email address provided during the ticket bundle purchase, the organisers may choose an alternative winner by randomly selecting another winning entry. The new winner will then have 1 day from being informed by the organisers to confirm their acceptance of the prize.
The winner needs to select their desired prize from the available options when contacted by the organisers. They must make their choice within the allocated 20-minute time slot. If the winner is unable to do so, the organiser reserves the right to award the prize to another participant chosen randomly using the same method as outlined above.
The winner agrees to media coverage after the draw, such as being highlighted in a newspaper article and featured in a social media post.
Participants must ensure they enter the raffle before the closing date.
The raffle drawing has been extended and is now scheduled for Monday 11th November 2024.
THE PRIZE
The purpose of the raffle is to raise money for the Aribo Foundation. Further details in relation to the cause can be found on the Aribo Foundation Website.
The raffle winners will receive an email notifying them of their win and informing them of the time when the organisers will get in touch with them to select their prize.
The winners will be contacted by telephone in the sequence that their tickets are drawn.
The ticket holder must answer the telephone call to choose their prize.
If no contact is established, including but not limited to - if the telephone call is unanswered or goes to voicemail, the organisers will reach out to the next winner in the sequence.
Each winner will receive one call. If the call is not answered, the winner voids their claim to the prize.
The organisers cannot ensure that the desired prize will remain available when the participant's turn comes to make a selection.
The organisers are not liable for travel or transportation related to any of the prizes.
All prizes will be arranged/ delivered to the winners.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Participants give consent to the organisers to input their personal information into their database and to utilise the data following the guidelines of the Data Protection Act 1998 and as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
The organisers have the authority to cancel the raffle at any point, whether before or after ticket bundles are sold. In the event of cancellation, participants will receive a refund of their entry fees, either via bank card reimbursement or cheque in a single payment for multiple entries from one participant. Once the entry fee is refunded, the organisers will not be liable to the participants or any other individual.
The organisers will not be responsible for any losses experienced by participants due to incomplete entries, failed computer communications, or the use of the website.
The organisers are not liable for entries that are not received due to computer system failures, malfunctions, high internet traffic, hardware or software failures, server faults, or any other reasons.
Every participant should keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for their own future reference.
These raffle rules do not establish or imply the creation of any type of contract, joint venture, or agreement between any participant and the organisers.
An entry will be considered null and void (without any refund) if the entrant participates in:
any type of fraud (actual or perceived)
fraudulent misrepresentation
fraudulent concealment
hacking or disruption of the website's proper operation
altering or unauthorised use of any website code
